- Website: PlantFacts.osu.edu/botanical
Working with the H&CS Digital Technology Team, we have designed and maintained numerous websites relating to college, departmental, teaching, research and outreach communications. Beginning in 1994 with Horticulture in Virtual Perspective, our team has developed and produced many sites that are database-driven multimedia digital collections. One of our ongoing projects is the PlantFacts.osu.edu/botanical project. This site offers botanical art enthusiasts, an opportunity to browse 500 hires photos utilizing Zoomify and Cooliris' 3D Wall. We also incorporate a QR code generator that enables visitors to copy a QR graphic into any print media and offer a direct link to their favorite botanical photos.
