I graduated from Ohio State with my bachelor's last spring and have been working with the Office of the CIO since 2009. My interest in videography began as a journalism student, as multimedia is a necessary skill in modern news reporting which happens to be a lot of fun! I trained myself in Final Cut and started making videos inside and outside of the OCIO - one of my favorite projects was a video I created for Ohio Staters, Inc. in 2010, highlighting the history of the underground railroad on Ohio State property. The gratification I felt for re-engaging our community in a new way to revive an existing, important story was worth the hours of work and lots of lessons learned the hard way. I've since been hired as a full-time communicator at the OCIO and am always looking for new ways the Ohio State community is embracing technology for educational and social progress.
