I am PhD student in Ohio State's department of English, focusing in Rhetoric, Composition, and Literacy and Digital Media Studies. I am particularly interested in rhetorics of identity, especially in digital contexts. I first became interested in pursuing graduate study after realizing that my interest how girls used MySpace to attract attention could become a research topic. Since then, I've looked at different digital spaces for how people inhabit, communicate, and perform identity within them.
